Location: The Preserves Community, Conewago Township, Hanover, Adams County
Project: Replace existing asphalt driveway and concrete sidewalk with new concrete driveway and stamped decorative sidewalk and driveway border. Also installed new stamped concrete step.
Located within The Preserves Community in Hanover, this customer wasn’t satisfied with the original asphalt driveway. The relatively new driveway was heavily worn because the base of the driveway was not sufficient.
After excavating the existing asphalt and clay base, we placed and compacted a new stone base for the driveway and sidewalks.
Our customer selected our Pennsylvania Stone stamped concrete pattern with beautiful earth-toned color selections. Our customer also selected several concrete stain colors that were added to make the sidewalk and border really stand out.
This project also included a step which looks like a giant stone slab. The beautiful texture on top paired with the appearance of a split-rock face and hand-tooled grout lines have added substantial curb appeal.
When the day came to get the stamping started, we were joined by a wonderful audience that enjoyed the sunny day watching concrete get stamped! It was a joy having our customers there to see all the work that goes into creating the art that is stamped concrete.
